SCERDO provides individualized, client-centered support to help newcomer families access essential services and navigate key systems. Delivered in collaboration with organizations such as Catholic Social Services, ensuring coordinated and culturally responsive care.

Program Overview
All services are provided at no cost to clients. Services include:
- Access to affordable and subsidized housing through organizations such as HomeEd, Mainstreet Equities, and CIVIDA
- Guidance on income support, financial services, legal aid, and healthcare
- Assistance with government forms and documentation
- Connections to transportation, recreation, and community services
- System navigation support (income support, labor standards, justice system)
- Accompaniment to key appointments (medical, legal, and government)
Referral Services
Clients are connected to specialized programs, including Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) providers in Edmonton, such as:
- Catholic Social Services
- NorQuest College
- Centre for Newcomers
Other Support Services
Additional support is provided based on individual needs to promote successful settlement and long-term integration.
